Realizing you need help and then searching for a therapist that best fits your needs can be an overwhelming experience. I create an environment where you can feel safe, understood, and cared about. My approach is collaborative, individualized, and specialized to your needs. I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and family systems theory to help you achieve your goals. In addition to therapy, I perform comprehensive psychological assessments to identify intellectual functioning, attention issues, and learning disabilities.
I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the California School of Professional Psychology - San Diego in 2001. I have extensive experience in therapy and testing, and have worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment centers, a psychiatric hospital, outpatient therapy and evaluation clinics, and schools.
I look forward to working with you.
